WONDERLAB
JUNE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS EDITION
Following its debut in March and April, WonderLab returned for a special June School Holidays Edition at Nexus, Punggol Coast Mall. Running throughout the month, this family-friendly activation invited visitors of all ages to drop in for hands-on activities, creative workshops and lively weekend performances. With something new to experience each week, WonderLab transformed the mall into a space of playful discovery — just in time for the school holiday crowd.
Over its daily run from 4 to 29 June, WonderLab welcomed 10,412 visitors — families, curious explorers, and creative minds of all ages ᥫ᭡
Craft Zone
At the Craft Zone, participants were given materials and a blank canvas to create whatever they liked. Rather than setting aside the artworks left behind, we built a living installation out of them. Using stacked cardboard boxes as the base, the display evolved over time — a celebration of every individual who contributed their creativity to the space!

Community Library
Visitors were also invited to slow down and enjoy a quiet moment at our Community Library — a cosy reading corner supported by the National Library Board, featuring hundreds of donated books for all ages. A “note plant” invited visitors to leave behind book recommendations or uplifting messages, adding a personal touch to the shared space.

We organised 4 free play activities across 4 weekends, welcoming 2,846 participants!
From transforming dull cardboard robots into vibrant personalities in Robot City, to designing your own kampung home in Colour Your Kampung, participants added their mark to evolving community installations. Others got hands-on with Colourful Chronicles, creating playful collages, or twisted and weaved their very own Paracord Keychains to take home. Each activity invited visitors to imagine, make, and leave a little piece of themselves behind at WonderLab.

Music & Movement
There was something for everyone at our music and dance zone. Families danced together at the Baby Rave Silent Disco, a family-friendly party where little ones could bop to the beat. Local singer-songwriter Jeff Ng took the stage for a live performance, while DJ Ramesh brought the energy with a live DJ set and Dance Battle that got the crowd moving.
