Creative Harmony
In collaboration with UOB and NAC, Creative Harmony is a series of arts and wellness workshops in 5 key areas: visual arts, music, mindful movement, theatre, and dance.
As youth transition into adulthood, self-awareness and reflection are important soft skills that need to be nurtured. Art serves as a powerful tool in developing this emotional resilience. This series of workshops aims to equip youths with the tangible tools necessary to empower them in find a pathway to creative expression and personal growth.
We organised a total of 30 workshops!
Through these workshops, youth will discover sources of joy, articulate their thoughts, and in turn learn to use art as a means of engaging with the world around them.

Youth explored visual art techniques such as painting, paper collaging, and printmaking to build self-awareness and confidence. By connecting with colours and textures, participants learned to express their inner worlds and communicate with those around them.

Through instruments, rhythm, sound, and song, youth found new ways to center themselves, regulate emotions, and express their evolving identities.
Music
Through dance and creative movement, participants deepened their mind-body connection. These sessions provided joyful opportunities for self-expression, emotional release, and personal growth.

Theatre workshops encouraged youth to step into new perspectives, articulate emotions, and connect authentically with their peers. Drama games nurtured empathy, collaboration, and creative confidence.

Through conversations with past UOB Painting of the Year awardees, we discuss how they balance creativity and commerce while staying true to their artistic voice.
