Esplanade March On 2024: Aki’s Playground

14 - 17 March 2024 | Annexe Studio at Esplanade

As part of Esplanade’s March On children’s festival 2024, PLAY! brought to life Aki’s Playground, a place for adventurers of all ages to explore the universe. In March, little explorers discovered three different worlds and used recycled materials to envision their own.

Throughout the playground, visitors were guided with fun activity sheets and had the opportunity to discover the magic of the three worlds with interactive storytelling sessions.

On entering Aki’s Playground little explorers uncovered a forest realm, with sounds from the jungle and big growing trees.

After the jungle an underwater world with musical coral and recycled fish, before launching into an intergalactic universe.

Finishing the expedition with a space for children to imagine and build their own magical world, the arts and crafts zone provided the opportunity to use recycled materials to create something fun.
