AŸSHA, fronted by soulful singer-songwriterAisyah Aziz, explores a powerful blend of spiritual and worldly melodies, drawing inspiration from Arabic tonalities and Nusantara influences. The music, sonically evoking deep emotions, reflects the complexities of the human condition.
Gema Harmoni, an ensemble comprising members from various Malay groups in Singapore, blends the rich and distinct sounds of the Malayan Archipelago. They bring the rhythmic heart of Malay music to the forefront, combining traditional percussive rhythms with contemporary influences.
Together, they seamlessly intertwine percussive traditions with modern elements, delivering a captivating performance for the soul that invites introspection, transcendence, and a deeper connection to life’s journey.
Aydarus Ahmad Alhabshi:
Aydarus has over 20 years of experience in community development and youth mentorship.He founded Sarang Café, Revamp.sg, Relite Events and Bend the Bamboo. Affectionately known as "Abang" by the youth he mentors, Aydarus has been delivering motivational talks through Revamp’s "Remind Gig" since 2013, combining meaningful conversations over supper and tea. His work has reached audiences in Brunei, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore, including at NUS, NTU, and various youth forums.
