To give everyone an idea of what you’re reading, tell us the title, and read a favorite quote or paragraph from the book
[Romance] Was the romance believable to you? Why or why not?
[Romance] What were some of the obstacles the main couple faced? Do you think they resolved it in a way that you agreed with? Why?
[Romance] How did the setting and time period of the romance affect the way the characters fell in love or overcome challenges?
[Mystery] How did the author introduce the mystery/crime? Did you like the way they did so? Why?
[Mystery] What were some of the obstacles the characters faced in unravelling the mystery?
[Mystery] How did the personal strengths/flaws of the hero help in solving the mystery or crime committed?
The Artist:
A library assistant by day and an indie writer by night, Juliana is a big fan of the written word—especially action-filled romance novels with characters (who kick butt!). When she's not helping students hunt down their next read, she’s busy working on her novel or hitting the pavement, fuelled by the pulse-pounding beats of The Score.
