LOPELAB X RAFFLES PLACE 2023: FANTASY GARDEN

The Fantasy Garden was a space created for free-play opportunities that allows children to express their creativity through physical objects and visual art mediums. The main goal of this initiative was to provide participants with the opportunity to collaborate on a collective project while exploring various artistic mediums.
HIGHLIGHTS
Participants engaged in a two-part creative experience. At the construction site, they used our handmade lightweight building blocks crafted from corrugated sheets, promoting the exploration of three-dimensional shapes and collaborative play. Subsequently, we organized an MRT Installation painting session where participants personalized a smaller replica of the Raffles Place MRT Station using paint, stickers, and ornaments.
This event took place on the 19th of August 2023 at Raffles Place Park, in conjunction with 'Unwind at Raffles' as part of the Sunday Social Market's lineup of vendors at Raffles Place. The free-play experience was commissioned by Lopelab.
The open space facilitated interaction among children, leading to the creation of impressive structures and a vibrant, personalized installation, fostering artistic expression and individual creativity.
