Why Not? Lab
On 1 May, we partnered with *SCAPE to present Why Not? Lab, a one-day interactive experience exploring the questions we quietly carry about the future of Singapore.
Blending exhibition, workshops, and participatory activities, the space invited visitors to reflect on the “why not?” thoughts we often have about how we live, work, and connect with one another.
Through interactive installations and hands-on exercises, participants contributed their own ideas, possibilities, and imagined futures into a growing collective space. Across the day, Why Not? Lab became a site for curiosity, conversation, and shared reflection.
The programme opened with a walking panel discussion featuring the authors of Why Not? Thinking About Singapore’s Tomorrow. Guided through the exhibition space itself, the session invited participants to reflect on the ideas, questions, and possibilities explored within Why Not? Lab while engaging in conversations about Singapore’s future. The discussion was moderated by Nurul Jihadah Hussain.
