FEEL TRIP

9 - 10 NOVEMBER 2025

In collaboration with *SCAPE, we welcomed 2,030 visitors to Feel Trip, an immersive youth-led exhibition that transforms emotions into multisensory art.

Over two days, participants joined our 11 youth-led guided workshops. Visitors journeyed through four distinct environments: Euphoria, Anger, Grief and Serenity. Each space was created as an open invitation to slow down, respond in your own way and discover how art can make emotional exploration feel accessible and playful.

Soft sculptural forms served as “emotional furniture,” offering places to rest and ground the body. A no-shoes floor layered with childhood blankets evoked warmth and safety, while fabric forts created gentle nooks for quiet reflection. Slow-shifting lights and subtle projections echoed how memories blur and return.

At the centre, the Ball Pit of Grief invited visitors to release a written memory into a pool of softballs as an act of acknowledgement.

Workshops in this room:

  • Drama for Wellness with Charlotte Elizabeth
Interactive theatre activities encouraging confidence and meaningful connection.

  • Soundbath with Amanda Ling
A restorative session using sound and vibration to calm the mind and body.

  • Time Capsule with Isabella Andrews
A hands-on workshop guiding participants to preserve memories and hopes in a personal keepsake.

Grief Room

This room explored how frustration and overwhelm can be released, redirected and transformed through sound, movement and collective expression.

Visitors stepped onto a floor fully covered in bubble wrap, creating an immediate tactile and auditory release. Retro televisions at the entrance looped visuals of tension, while galvanised walls layered with graffiti invited free marking and shared expression. A laser-activated scream zone turned vocalisation into visual disruption—offering a safe, spectacular outlet for intensity.

The design drew from brutalist train stations with scaffold structures, tube lighting and industrial seating. The intentionally gritty, enclosed environment mirrored the claustrophobia of waiting underground while providing a controlled space for safe emotional release.

Workshops in this room:

  • Expressive Art Therapy with Gayatri Lele
A collaborative painting session encouraging emotional release through colour and gesture.

  • Upcycling & Bleach Painting with Joan
Transforming old cotton items into bold new pieces through surface design and creative upcycling.

  • Make Your Own Plushie with Isabella Andrews
A stitching and soft-sculpture workshop where participants created their own plush object to bring home.

Anger Room

This room invited visitors to slow down, soften their pace and experience stillness through texture, light and gentle interaction.

Inspired by a Zen Garden, the space was designed as a quiet environment that supported focus and calm. A low fabric canopy of layered translucent sheets created a sheltered atmosphere, while ambient light rippled slowly across the walls to introduce spaciousness and ease.

Soft, low seating formed a relaxed terrain for rest. At the entrance, a sound-reactive installation allowed visitors to touch potted plants that triggered calming tones—bringing in a playful connection to nature and awareness. In the tactile sand zone, visitors shaped miniature Zen gardens with rakes and stones, offering a meditative moment centred on presence rather than outcome.

Workshops in this room:

  • Zen Garden Plant Arrangement with Bryan Kang
A guided session exploring grounding and calm through mindful plant placement.

  • Shift Overwhelm into Calm with Amanda Ling
A heart-centred guided meditation focused on breath, self-regulation and restoring balance.

Serenity Room

This room explored joy as something energetic and communal, expressed through colour, movement and playful interaction.

Designed like an open-concept home party, the space featured a chrome and yellow palette with neon lights reflecting off iridescent streamers and suspended disco balls. Inflatable toy balloons added a playful contrast, while a growing display wall showcased completed art cards created by visitors.

Tables, stools and beanbags encouraged casual gathering, and a Polaroid photo booth offered simple moments of interaction. The flexible layout supported workshops to unfold naturally within the lively environment.

Workshops in this room:

  • Joy of Rhythm with Rhythm Masala
A movement-based session exploring rhythm, connection and collective energy.

  • Clay Making with Kate L
A hands-on air-dry clay workshop encouraging playful, focused creation.

  • Moments of Joy Vision Board with Kemp
A reflective making session where participants identified sources of joy and translated them into personalised vision boards.
