Children’s Day Glow Activities at KidsSTOP

From 2 to 4 October, we brought two glow-in-the-dark activities to KidsSTOP for Children’s Day. Both ran as walk-in activities across the three days, welcoming families throughout the long weekend.

In Glow Buddies, kids turned a glow stick into their own little character, decorating it with as many googly eyes as they liked. In Glow Star Weave, they wrapped yarn around a notched cardboard disc to create a star pattern that glows when the lights go down.

Both activities were designed to be easy for small hands, with no single right way to make them, giving kids room to experiment and follow their own ideas.
