Portraits of PLAY! with Clare Chong

Meet Clare Chong, co-founder of PLAY! and the creative director behind Gathering Roots, where she also led the projection mapping visuals. She shares the process of creating this multi-sensory public art installation, from shaping the film’s narrative to bringing it to life through projection. Outside of PLAY!, Clare is also the co-founder of Hei Studio, where she directs works across advertisements, music videos, short films, and more. She’s also a video mapping artist, and you may have seen her liquid light shows at recent events like Sunda Festival, Singapore Night Festival and Tanjong Pagar Distripark.
